JP Homes Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 13, 2026
This policy describes how JP Homes handles information in its private property-management dashboard. It is intended for the JP Homes business, its authorized dashboard users, and people whose information JP Homes enters into the system.
Who operates JP Homes
JP Homes is a private, invite-only dashboard used by JP Homes to review property, rental, and operating information. ASCEND Innovations built and operates the software and provides technical support at JP Homes’ direction. ASCEND’s public marketing website is separate from the private JP Homes dashboard.
Information handled by the dashboard
Depending on how JP Homes uses the dashboard, it may contain:
User and sign-in information: names, email addresses, access roles, authentication records, and security logs.
Property and rental information: property addresses, tenant or occupant names and contact details entered by JP Homes, rent amounts, due dates, payment status, balances, and related property-management records.
Financial records: transactions, balances, and other business records entered directly or imported from CSV files, including Operating Account, rental-income, and credit-card records. Uploaded files may contain additional information included by the uploader.
Connected-account information: if an authorized person links an account through Plaid or Stripe Financial Connections, the provider may share account or institution labels, masked account details, balances, and transaction information permitted by the connection and the user’s consent. The Stripe connection is intended to request balances and transactions only.
Technical information: information generated by sign-in and use of the service, such as timestamps and security or troubleshooting events.
The JP Homes dashboard does not ask users to enter bank passwords into the dashboard. Bank authentication takes place through the financial connection provider and/or the financial institution’s flow.
How information is used
JP Homes uses information to operate the dashboard: maintain user access; organize property and rental records; import and display financial records; review balances, transactions, rent, and operating activity; and troubleshoot, secure, and support the service.
Connected-account access is for viewing and analysis. JP Homes does not use this connection to initiate payments or transfers, make credit decisions, advertise to users, or sell connected-account information. The Stripe connection is not configured to request tokenized account and routing numbers, account-ownership data, or payment permissions. JP Homes does not use connected financial information to train AI models.
When information is shared
Information is made available only as needed to run JP Homes:
JP Homes and its authorized users can access dashboard information according to their assigned access.
ASCEND Innovations can access information as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and support the dashboard for JP Homes.
Plaid or Stripe processes a bank connection when JP Homes uses that provider’s connection flow. The provider and financial institution handle their own authentication, terms, and privacy practices.
Supabase provides database and authentication services for the dashboard.
Render provides application hosting for the dashboard.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of JP Homes, ASCEND, users, or others.
These providers may process information to provide their services and under their own applicable terms. JP Homes does not sell personal or connected-account information or share it for third-party targeted advertising.
Bank connection choices
Only a person authorized to act for the relevant business or account holder should connect a financial account. The person completing the provider’s consent flow chooses the account and approves the requested access. When Stripe Financial Connections is used, JP Homes intends to request balances and transactions only. A user can decline to connect an account and continue using dashboard features that do not require that connection.
Disconnecting an account stops future access through that connection when the provider processes the disconnection. Disconnecting does not automatically erase information already received or records previously imported into JP Homes. To request removal of stored data, use the contact information below. Users may also revoke a provider’s authorization through the provider or their financial institution where those controls are available.
Storage and security
JP Homes is invite-only. The application uses authentication and database access controls, including role-based access and Supabase row-level security, to limit information to authorized users and services. ASCEND and its providers use safeguards appropriate to operating the dashboard, but no internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
JP Homes uses hosted infrastructure from Supabase and Render. Information may be processed or stored in the regions used by these providers and the deployed JP Homes configuration. This policy does not promise that all information or backups are stored only in the United States.
Retention and privacy requests
JP Homes retains information while it is needed to provide the dashboard, maintain property and financial history, support business operations, protect the service, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal or accounting requirements. Disconnecting a financial account stops future connection access but does not by itself delete previously received data. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, JP Homes will delete or de-identify it, subject to legal, accounting, security, and backup-retention requirements.
An authorized JP Homes representative may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information, or ask to disconnect a financial account, by emailing isabella@ascendinnovation.io with the subject “JP Homes privacy request.” We may need to verify the requester’s identity and authority before acting. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or legitimate business reasons. Plaid and Stripe separately handle requests relating to information they hold under their own policies.
